Girls' Stories, Girls' Voices - June 2005

Every summer in June, Professor Nancy
Nelson brings in a group of middle school
girls from the community to work with students
from her Education classes, to learn about the
ways that girls can be empowered to tell their
stories and grow as people.  Art activities,
music, yoga and dance, and other methods
of communication are explored in an interactive
and nurturing environment.
